Through our interdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning, all students at the University are invited to learn about the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals through the University College for Interdisciplinary Learning (UCIL). This research-led teaching gives students a more comprehensive understanding of the challenges facing our world and prepares them to lead in the development of local and global solutions.

Our commitments

We make commitments as a university to ensure our students not only gain academic and professional skills but are also equipped with a sense of environmental and social responsibility, in line with the University’s vision. These include:

  • Enabling student experiences to be co-created with sustainability targets/measures.
  • Working with our students through Stellify to enhance sustainability and sustainable development awareness and skills development, along with providing volunteering opportunities.
  • Exploring ways to enhance sustainable teaching and learning through curriculum design.
