Event description

The Instruments of Change: Manchester Digital Exhibition, running from 21 February onwards, showcases historical medical objects and equipment that represent innovation, change and discovery across 200 years of healthcare, research and medical education in Manchester.

At the centre of the exhibition are historical medical instruments and equipment at the Museum of Medicine and Health, part of the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health at The University of Manchester, and additions from The University of Manchester Library special collections highlight mutually relevant collections for engagement and study.

This online exhibition is a version of a display within the Stopford Building, which explores patient care and policy development in an emerging National Health Service in the mid-20th century.
